SCORE, "Counselors to America's Small Business" - a nonprofit association – is dedicated to educating entrepreneurs and the formation, growth and success of small business nationwide. We are America's premier source of free and confidential business development counsel.

SCORE Volunteers offer business consultation free of charge. They donate their time, share their insight, experience and lessons learned helping others succeed. All are qualified working, semi-retired or retired business owners, executives and corporate leaders, men and women with over 600 business skills. That’s 10,500 volunteers in 389 chapters throughout the United States and its territories.

You can qualify if you meet these 3 membership criteria:

• At least 10 years of experience as an owner or general manager of a small business; middle manager level or higher in the corporate world, including marketing, human resources, sales, operations and finance; CPA or management consultant to top management of small to medium sized businesses.
   
  You enjoy helping others start or grow their businesses. Your knowledge and interest in helping others is valuable. Your reward is seeing others succeed!
  
• You agree to donate at least 15 hours per month to Chapter activities. You’ll chose to participate in a range of activities ranging from client counseling, training and chapter projects to workshops, seminars and committee activities.

We are specially seeking new counselors with recent, relevant experience in: financial management, business training, government contracting, software development, import/export, web design, Internet marketing and restaurant operation.
